AKA Robotics Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2017 with a founding team of senior engineers in robotics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, dedicated to developing and manufacturing wall climbing robots.

Through Sci-Tech enabling , AKA aims to overcome the sufferings of perpendicular or arch operation in industries and provide a more humanized way when operators face the harshness of aerial or polluted working environments.

Wallhiker series of robots came from AKA's continuous R&D investment and dozens of projects success. It perfectly integrates UHP (Ultra-high Pressure) water jet, magnetic adsorption, intelligent control algorithms, and machine vision technologies. The company was founded in 2017, and successfully developed a tracked climbing robot and a sewage vacuum recovery system. The company secured angel investment in this round.

In 2018, the wheeled wall-climbing robot was successfully developed, and the pilot of ship derusting business was successful.

In 2019, the petrochemical explosion-proof robot was successfully developed, with the product finding small-scale application in both maritime and storage tank industries.

In 2020, sewage treatment equipment was successfully developed, and the company introduced robot solutions for the maritime and storage tank industries. The range of products found extensive application, completing Pre-A round financing.

In 2021, dock-bottom robots and wind turbine de-icing robots were successfully developed. Fully-owned subsidiaries were established in Qingdao and Zhoushan, effectively supporting nationwide operations. The company was approved as a national high-tech enterprise.

In 2022, a wind turbine robot solution was launched, including blade cleaning and de-icing, tower polishing and painting, as well as tower oil stain cleaning. This solution achieved large-scale application and completed Series A financing.

In 2023, the cargo hold cleaning robots were successfully developed; the company's multiple products passed the European Union CE certification; The company's products have received the Brand Product Certification in the Industrial Cleaning Association of China (ICAC) and have been selected for inclusion in the "Strong Chain Brand" Product Catalog for the shipbuilding industry. The company has been approved as a specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprise in Shenzhen, and has completed Series A+ financing.
